Shared container shipping pairs your vehicle with another in the same 40ft container. You split the cost — typically £1,400–£1,900 each — and get the protection of a sealed container without paying sole-use rates.
The trade-off is timing. Shared container slots only sail when a pair is matched, so lead times can be 2–4 weeks longer than RoRo. We hold a regular pairing list for the main UK-to-Gulf, UK-to-Australia and UK-to-USA routes.
Both vehicles are loaded, lashed and braced separately so there's no risk of contact in transit. Each vehicle gets its own bill of lading.
Best for: enthusiasts shipping a mid-value classic or modern performance car who want container protection without sole-use cost.
